   Many years ago I received an email from one of my readers. 

 

   Her daughter was traveling to London on tour with her basketball team and she wanted to know how to pray and keep her out of harm's way.

 

   Just one week later we all woke up to watch the latest terrorist attack on the subways and buses in London.

 

   Here's the next email I got from that prayerful Mom:

 

"Thank you Elisha,

"My daughter is on tour in London with her basketball team, praise God she and her team mates are fine. Needless to say I was a total wreck this morning and immediately started to pray that she was safe and asked God for her to call me....in less than 5 minutes my phone rang and it was her. After hanging up I returned to praying and giving God thanks for such a quick answer.

"I will use these prayers for her safe return home. Thanks  again"

 

Divine Protection 

 

These are the days of a mysterious global pandemic.

Everyone is caught off-guard. 

 

 

What is the implication for you and your loved ones?

• or earthquakes; 
  

• or volcanic eruptions; 
  

• or fire disasters.

The Cover

 

The prayer is called “The Cover”.

 

In the late 1990s, the Holy Spirit tutored us on how to pray it and the testimonies have not ceased: 

• lone survivors at the scene of deadly crashes; 

• miraculous escape from fire disasters, terrorist attacks; 

• missed appointments with death; 

• the list goes on and on.

 

But first, why is this prayer called “The Cover” and how does it work?

 

Let’s go to the Scripture:

 

And when Elisha was come into the house, behold, the child was dead , and laid upon a bed.

He went in therefore, and shut the door upon them twain, and prayed unto the LORD.

And he went up, and lay upon the child, and put his mouth upon his mouth, and his eyes upon his eyes, and his hands upon his hands: and he stretched himself upon the child; and the flesh of the child waxed warm.

Then he returned, and walked in the house to and fro; and went up, and stretched himself upon him: and the child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes.

                     2 Kings 4:33-35

 

Notice, this prophet had to do it more than once. 

 

Our next passage is from the book of Acts:

 

 

And there sat in the window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead.

 

And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, trouble not yourselves, for his life is in him

                       Acts 20:9-10

 

In each of the above cases, the prophet/apostle spread a "spiritual covering" and the Spirit of resurrection life in Christ Jesus took care of the rest.

Please close your eyes and take these 2 prayer right away:

#1. LORD I thank you for the power of resurrection and life.

#2: Let the Spirit of life replace the spirit of death around me in the name of Jesus.

 

Modern Application

 

There are prayers you can pray to cover yourself and your loved ones anywhere, anytime, anyplace. 

 

There is a great covering prayer in the Bible.

 

In the old days, the people of God used to march into battle with the words of this prayer on their lips, some praying it, some singing it, and it never failed to bring disaster upon their enemies. 

 

These days we battle against wickedly intelligent spirits (not human beings) and we target them with the same prayers of intervention, in order to destroy their wicked plans completely from the source.

 

  (In an advanced prayer session to be announced shortly I will explain something strange about satanic beasts and the killer virus currently plaguing the earth).

Meanwhile, here’s the Bible’s instruction for us:

 

Do not be afraid of sudden terror

Nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes;

For the LORD will be your confidence,

And will keep your foot from being caught.

                  - Prov. 3:25-26

 

 

How to Pray

 

If you haven't done so already I will strongly advise you and your family to commit the entire Psalm 91 to memory and...
 

... then learn to confess it everyday in your car, at work, and everywhere.

It will release a strong spiritual covering around you and your loved ones ...

... that will magnetize the favor, glory and angels of God  while repelling evil things from you and your loved ones!  

• These prayers are best prayed at the "gate of midnight," but they’ll work at any other time.
  

• Fasting adds wings and speed to the manifestation of the answers to your prayers.
